Can AI catch every hazard on my site?
No. OSHA Scan reviews a single photo, so it can only flag hazards that are visible in that frame. Hidden hazards, anything outside the shot, and conditions that change over time will not be captured. It is a fast first look, not a complete inspection.
Can it measure heights, distances, or weights?
Not reliably. A photo has no depth or scale, so exact heights, distances, loads, and clearances cannot be measured from an image. Treat any measurement-dependent finding as a prompt to check it in person.
Does a scan confirm I am OSHA compliant?
No. A compliance score is a prioritization aid based on what the AI sees — it is not an official OSHA determination and does not confirm legal compliance. OSHA Scan is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by OSHA.
Does OSHA Scan replace a safety professional?
No. It is an AI-assisted preliminary review that helps anyone on site spot obvious hazards quickly. Formal inspections and compliance decisions still require a competent person as defined by OSHA.
